The "Best Dressed" outfit was from Korean designer iijin, who's quickly becoming a Hollywood favorite. I wore the black and navy iijin cocktail dress to an event Shandi and I attended together last week for a charity that Pageantology will soon be collaborating with called A Better Los Angeles. It's an incredible nonprofit organization that supports community-based solutions to restore peace, save lives, and give people living in inner city Los Angeles the resources they need in order to thrive. They make our community a better place by empowering young people and we can't wait to start working with them!
The second photo was from back in the day when I co-hosted MTVs TRL Finale. Here's a little fun fact: I became a host on MTV just 10 months after I crowned Shandi Miss USA 2004! It was my first hosting job and I was so blessed to have the opportunity present itself so quickly after being Miss USA. Pageants can certainly open LOTS of doors if you know how to network and work hard during your reign. In fact, the importance of networking and how to do it effectively is a topic that Shandi and I will be covering at our workshops. Make sure to check out the dates and sign up for a workshop near you. We're gonna cover so many topics during the workshop! The Pageantology Workshop is about preparing for your next pageant and life AFTER pageants as well! We want to help you become savvy as you plan for your career too. You won't want to miss it! We hope to see you soon!
Thanks again and much love right back 'atcha Latina! I'm looking forward to collaborating with you again someday.
