Ginger Tahini Dressing

Eating healthy doesn't mean you're meals are tasteless especially if you have a dressing on-hand like my ginger tahini dressing! It's absolutely DELICIOUS! I use it as a salad dressing, a dipping sauce for veggies, or as a sauce for my quinoa/roasted veggie dishes. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do at my house!

The recipe was inspired by the one served at one of my favorite Los Angeles spots, Cafe Gratitude. Caf-Grats (as I like to call it : ) serves organic vegan food but they make it look and taste SO GOOD! I now make this dressing on a regular basis and store the extra in my refrigerator to use for the next couple of days...

As always, try to get all organic ingredients if you can:

Ginger Tahini Dressing


5" piece of fresh ginger (peeled and chopped) *use a potato peeler to peel your ginger.

Juice of 1 and 1/2 fresh lemons

3 garlic cloves

1/4 tsp sea salt

3 Tbsp's extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup of raw tahini

1 tsp white balsamic vinegar

dash of freshly ground pepper

1/2 cup of water


1. Start with the chopped ginger and water in a high-speed blender. Blend the ginger really well then add all the other ingredients and blend until creamy. Taste the mixture and add more of whatever ingredient you think it needs more of. Custom make it to suit your taste buds : )

2. Pour the sauce into a recycled pasta sauce glass jar or something and store it in the refrigerator.

Doesn't get any easier than that friends!
